| On the Friday we all went
down to Cardiff in the minibus. As the traffic was bad it was a mad rush
to get there before the weigh-in closed. We didn't make it. But thankfully
when we phoned ahead they said they'd keep it open a bit longer for us.
Once we had weighed in we went to the travel lodge we were staying at in
the center of Cardiff. The next day we made the short journey to the Welsh institute of sport, where the competition was being held. The older categories started first, most finishing before the afternoon, leaving the younger categories to wait until later in the day. Once everyone had finished fighting we set off on the journey home.
